Lovely You Bundle Diamond Fold Card with Video

How are you today? Thanks so much for checking out my post. Today I'm hopping with the Maui Trip Achievers crew & this is our last hop for the year. Fingers crossed I get to participate in the next 12 months of hops with the Maui Elite Achievers! I'm writing this post on 17 Sept 2020 & I haven't quite earned the trip yet, but I'm close!

Anyway, today I thought I'd show you this beautiful Diamond Fold card that was one of the projects from my Sept 2020 Stamp Camp, using the Lovely You Bundle. Kudos to Dawn Griffiths for her YouTube tutorial, which I have changed slightly to make it metric & to fit our Aussie A4 cardstock size.

I have used Melon Mambo, Gorgeous Grape & Whisper White cardstock with Artistry Blooms DSP. I have also used our fabulous paper trimmer & a bunch of inks - colours have been picked from the DSP - Melon Mambo, Gorgeous Grape, Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green & Mango Melody. There's also another white diamond of cardstock on the back of the card to write a message.

Metric Measurements:

Cut an A4 piece of cardstock 9.8cm x 29.4cm
On the long side, score 4.9cm, score 9.8cm, notch top & bottom 14.7cm, score 19.6cm, score 24.5cm
Diagonally score from the top 4.9cm down to the bottom 14.7cm & again from the top 14.7cm down to the bottom 24.5cm. Turn it clockwise to the other long side & repeat the process. This will create the two X's on the left & right of the card, leaving the diamond shape in the centre.
For the rectangles, cut the cardstock layers at 4.5cm x 9.4cm & the DSP at 4.1cm x 9cm - you'll need two of each
For the triangles, cut the cardstock layers at 9cm x 9cm & the DSP at 8.6cm x 8.6cm, then quarter them - you'll need one of each or do two of each if you want to cover the triangles around the diamond as well.
For the square, cut the cardstock layers at 9cm x 9cm & the white at 8.6cm x 8.6cm - you'll need one of each for the front & another one of each if also putting on the back to write on.
