Animal Outing November Class

Today I've got these cute Animal Outing cards that we made in class this month! I really love how easily they came together. It's such a cute set to use for babies & your loved ones!

This first card features the cute Rhino (which is Ryan's nick name, my 22mo baby). He's stamped in Basic Gray & the Gray Granite paper is from the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper (DSP), cut with the 2-1/4" Circle Punch. I've also used the Layered Leaves embossing folder & Tranquil Tide Ruffle Ribbon to match the cardstock & base layer. The Rhino has been die cut with the coordinating dies on the Big Shot.

This card has a Coastal Cabana cardstock base with the sentiment stamped all over it, also in Coastal Cabana. I've stamped a few times in between inking so some of the sentiments are lighter. The Coastal Cabana ribbon is actually from the Tea Room Combo pack. I have used the 2" Circle Punch to cut the Animal Exhibition DSP printed pattern side & the croc is fussy cut from the same paper.

Finally, a cute giraffe card using a technique I saw at OnStage. The lady smeared the ink pad across the cardstock base to give it this cool look for a desert cactus card & I thought it would work well for an African savanna. I have used Mango Melody & Crushed Curry for this card & I thought they were a bit similar, so we substituted So Saffron in class & it looked much better. The trees are stamped in Early Espresso. There is also one Early Espresso & one Crushed Curry giraffe, which were cut out with the coordinating dies on the Big Shot. The sentiment was cut with the Pretty Label Punch & I have also used some Copper Trim.

We also made some kangaroo cards in class with free scope. I'll show you those in a few days, after I've shown you the other cards we made on the day. We did Snowflake Showcase & Country Lane, as well!
