November Random Act of Kindness Blog Hop - First Frost October Class

These are the cards we made last month at my First Frost Class using the beautiful First Frost Bundle with the Frosted Floral Designer Series Paper. Gosh I love this sweet suite!

The first card has the Frosted Floral DSP for the base layer, on a Soft Suede cardstock base. I have used the Banner Triple Punch to cut the sentiment piece out of Soft Sea Foam cardstock & stamped foliage all over it in Pear Pizazz. I actually thought this was too dark & so we did the foliage in Soft Sea Foam at class. I have stamped the sentiment in Soft Suede & we also did the inside sentiment in Soft Suede at class. I have also attached the Mini Sequin Trim in Gold & Whisper White Twine. I've added a few of the loose sequins onto the card front with Tombow.

The next card is on a Night of Navy cardstock base with an additional base layer of Night of Navy, which has been embossed with the Layered Leaves folder. I have used the Frosted Bouquet dies to cut the Pear Pizazz leaves from the Frosted Floral DSP & die cut some Copper Foil for the twiggy bits. There is a base of Night of Navy on the sentiment as well, which have also been cut with the dies & stamped in Pear Pizazz & more White Twine.

The third card is Blackberry Bliss cardstock base & base layer, which has been embossed with the Tufted folder. I have used the Starburst Punch to cut the Black Foil paper & a 2" Punch of the Frosted Floral DSP. I have also added the Black Glitter Ribbon & a hand cut Whisper White banner with the sentiment stamped in Blackberry Bliss.

Finally, a pretty little Whisper White cardstock base & base layer, which has been embossed with the Basket Weave folder. The flowers have been stamped in Blackberry Bliss, Calypso Coral & Pear Pizazz, then die cut with the Frosted Bouquet dies. I've added the Gold Metallic Thread & used the Everyday Label Punch. The sentiment is stamped in Blackberry Bliss. I have glued the flowers onto the back of the sentiment & then attached it to the card with Dimensionals.

No inside shot of this card as I wrote in it & gave it to my mother in law with a matching bunch of flowers. She's hurt her back & was in bed for a few days & she missed out on her weekly sleep over with the boys, so this cheered her up! Along with some gentle cuddles with my three year old Luke. She's on the mend now! xx
