Making Christmas Bright October Class

Today I'm showing you the cards from one of my October classes, where we used the Making Christmas Bright Bundle with the Bulb Punch & also the Making Every Day Bright stamp set, as it also fits the Bulb Punch.

I cased this first design from the lovely Linda Dalke. I have used the bokeh paper from the All is Bright Designer Series Paper & inked up with Basic Black (Momento) & Crumb Cake inks. I have stamped a couple of times between each inking up, so that some of the images are a bit lighter. I have cut Black Metallic Paper with the Bulb Punch & there is also some behind the sentiment, cut with the Everyday Label Punch. I have cut the black in half & glued it to the back of the Crumb Cake sentiment, then attached the whole thing with Dimensionals. It is on a Basic Black cardstock base.

Here's Linda's card. Linda has sponge brayered her card in Blushing Bride & Basic Black. It is very beautiful!

I had been wanting to use this bauble print for ages but I couldn't find the right combo of colours to use with it. Finally I tossed it onto my desk & it landed on some Basic Gray cardstock & boom! I loved it! I have also used Daffodil Delight to stamp the bulbs, which are cut out with the 2-1/4" Circle Punch & the Mini Gold Sequin Trim behind. Simple but so pretty!

And finally a little trio of cards in Coastal Cabana & Calypso Coral. I have cased these designs from the Holiday Catalog & just changed up the colours. The washi tape is from the Big Plans Planner. How sweet & simple are these! And of course, the penguin, feathers & bunny all fit in the Bulb Punch, so you could totally cut them out & prop them up to add a bit more dimension. I have also added the sentiments from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set & used the Classic Label Punch.
