Today I'm playing along with the Global Design Project Case the Designer Challenge - the gorgeous Stesha Bloodhart! Stesha makes the most beautiful cards, but I was actually a bit enamoured with Brian King's case of Stesha's card... we all know I've got quite the crafty crush on BK & his clean style... so here's my pink version of his card xx
Powder Pink base, layered with Basic Black & the Painted With Love Designer Series Paper. This dot print is on the back of the washed out Calypso Coral & gold print. I have White heat embossed the sentiment from the Petal Palette stamp set onto a scrap of Basic Black cardstock & stuck that on the top.
There is some Black Metallic Thread nested under the roses, which are propped up with Dimensionals. And add some black sequins from the Metallic Sequins Assortment for good measure.
Oh & I spent FOREVER colouring those roses... Just kidding! haha! I'm waaaaay too lazy for that, so here's a quick & simple trick for you - use that gorgeous brushstroke print that SU has designed for us! This also works really well with the watercolour look prints we get in some packs. I have stamped the roses from the Petal Palette stamp set in Momento Black & die cut with the matching framelit on my Big Shot. Easy peasy & don't they look amazing! xx
