Creating Kindness Blog Hop; Texture - Love Today

This month we are playing with Texture & I have had a lot of fun making these cards!

I have used the Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper (DSP) in the Tranquil Tide stripe print on Thick Whisper White cardstock. I have smoothed over Embossing Paste with the diamond mask from the Pattern Party Decorative Masks & I have added in a drop of Pool Party ink. A Silicone Mat & the Palette Knives are a must to mix your ink into the paste. The easiest way to clean the paste off your tools is to wash them in warm, soapy water straight away.

I have also added Shimmery White cardstock & Vellum die cut on my Big Shot with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies & added a lovely little nest of Gold Metallic Thread underneath. The gold rose is from the stickers that come with the Love Today Planner. And the whole bit is propped up on Dimensionals.

I've also added one of the little gold banners from the Love Today Planner stickers & a big Billie Bow. You can see how I made this on the video below.

I've also made one with the Crushed Curry dandelion print from the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP. I'd love to know which is your favourite!
