Hi Crafters!
Some exciting news for you today! It's Blog Hop time!! Today we are CASE-ing (Copy & Selectively Edit) the wonderfully talented Tanya Boser, who is also joining us on this hop!
I
hope you find great inspiration from all the projects in this hop. You
may be starting the hop here at my blog (Jessie Holton) or you may have
come from the previous person on the list. Be sure to click on the next
person in the list to continue your blog hop adventure casing Tanya's
work.
And here is my take on this watercolour look, using the Best Birds Bundle. I am only new to watercolour but I am having fun learning how to apply this technique & I'm really happy with how these cards turned out. Maybe one day, I'll make beautiful backgrounds like Tanya! :P xx
I have made two cards the same, one features Bermuda Bay & the other Sweet Sugarplum. I White Heat Embossed the images onto Shimmery White cardstock & then watercoloured, cut out the feature circle (Stitched Shapes Dies) & layered a scalloped edge circle (Layering Circle Dies) behind.
I've stamped the bird & twig images with Soft Suede. The So Saffron paper is from the retired Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper (DSP) & the Tranquil Tide is from the new Delightful Daisy DSP. I have used the matching Birds & Blooms Dies to cut them out. I've also added some of the Copper Trim underneath, which I've cut open & stretched out. As the Copper Trim is a really thin metal weave, it keeps it's shape really well when you play with it.
I've also stamped the inside to match. I hope you have enjoyed what I've made today & that you continue to travel through the hop & see all our beautiful creations casing the amazing Tanya.Thank you Tanya for joining us, it was fun casing you!
