I've got new neighbours & what a perfect excuse to break into the new Hostess Stamp Set - In the City! It's so cute, I just love it's cartoon quality & the simple two step stamping makes for a really fun card! But these stamps would be perfect to colour in with the Stampin' Write Markers, Aqua Painters, Blender Pens or the new Watercolour Pencils, too.
I've lined up the first five outline images & picked them up on one clear block & then used that to repeat the pattern in Basic Black. I've used Pink Pirouette, So Saffron, Real Red, Wild Wasabi & Smoky Slate to colour them in with the filler stamps. I've also used just the filler stamp for the clouds in Smoky Slate & the outline for the cobblestones in Basic Grey. This stamp set has a ton of images!
Then I thought I'd do a couple of baby cards as my other neighbours are expecting (don't know which sex) & my brother & his wife are expecting a girl. I've added the stalk in Basic Grey to these cards & also added the fussy cut buildings (above) & the trees (below) on Dimensionals. I also added some Blushing Bride sequin trim to the card below & popped the sentiment up on Dimensionals. I used the border stamp from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set & cut out with the coordinating Classic Label Punch.
I hope you've enjoyed my cards today, I certainly had a lot of fun making them & will be playing more with this cool stamp set! You are currently visiting Jessie Holton, please hop around the list below & enjoy all the samples we've got for you! xx
