Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Julie Davison

Hi Crafters!

Some exciting news for you today! It's Blog Hop time!! Today we are CASE-ing (Copy & Selectively Edit) the wonderfully talented Julie Davison, who is also joining us on this hop!

This was actually the first card that came up when I was searching through Julie's cards & I fell in love! I have been wanting to get this little Llama dude out for a while!!

And here is my case of Julie's card:

Isn't the little llama just the cutest? I have used a Pumpkin Pie cardstock base, cut A frame for a change. I have used the matching Festive Embossing Folder & a strip of the adorable Festive Birthday Designer Series Paper (DSP) with the cacti on it - love how cute they are, too!

The Melon Mambo stitched ribbon is also a coordinating product. The images & sentiments come from the Birthday Fiesta stamp set & I have used a little flag stamp on the llama's rug, it just fits perfectly! I have used the matching Feista Time Framelits for the llama & the label framelit from the Rose Garden set to cut out the sentiment on my Big Shot & I have also cut one in Emerald Envy cardstock, then cut that in half & glued it behind the sentiment to give it a bit of a border.

I have also stamped the envelope & inside the card to match. The inks I have used for this project are Soft Suede, Emerald Envy, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry & Melon Mambo.
