September Classes: Jar of Love & Papillon Potpourri

Hi Crafters!

Tonight, I thought I'd share with you some of the beautiful creations made by my lovely customers who have come to my classes so far this month. Angela came last Saturday for a play & we made this stunning Wedding card, by request. It is soooo beautiful! Stay tuned for my case of this card haha!

This card was made on a Thick Whisper White cardstock base with Copper heat embossing (with Versamark & Heat Tool), Copper Metallic String & Copper Washi Tape from the Affectionately Yours collection. The Butterflies are from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set & we have used the Baby Wipe Technique with the Subtles range of reinkers to get the multicoloured look. They have been cut out with the matching Elegant Butterfly punch & we also added some Basic Pearls. The splashes in the background are from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set & the sentiment is from the For the New Two stamp set.We used the Washi Tape Technique to get rid of the rest of the words in this sentiment - see the WTT video tutorial.

This is a picture of the ink spots all over the baby wipe on a plate. You ink up the stamp in this to get the multicoloured look we had on the butterflies.

I had four lovely ladies over yesterday for my Jars of Love class; Amy, Koren, Angela & Bec. The above picture is their versions of the Jar of Love card I cased for the Wendy Cranford Blog Hop I did a few weeks ago. We have used all the same colours I used last time, except I substituted the Elegant Eggplant for Perfect Plum. The girls absolutely rocked their cards & I was so happy to be able to share it with them! It's my all time favourite card I've made so far! And Koren has only stamped once previously, so she did an amazing job & has a real knack for it.

This is the second card I made for the class, just using stamping alone to show how lovely the stamp set is, even though the matching framelits are really a must haha! We have used Marina Mist, Pool Party, Emerald Envy, Peekaboo Peach, So Saffron & Flirty Flamingo. I have also used the Hearts & Stars Decorative Masks for the hearts in the background, sponged in Flirty Flamingo.

I have added this card into the Just Add Ink Challenge #329.

These are the girls versions of my card & I love how they're all so different! It's so much fun seeing what everyone comes up with & the different ideas for using the same products.

Then we had a bit of time left at the end of the class & Angela suggested we do the Baby Wipe Technique again, cos we had so much fun with it the previous week! So I gave everyone a plate & a baby wipe & got out the Subtles reinkers again & everyone made up their own mix of colours & had some fun with Papillon Potpourri & Gorgeous Grunge & a few of the sentiments from the Jar of Love stamp set. And again, they're all so different, I love what they have done!
