Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Frenchie Martin!

Hi Crafters!

Today we are excited to be CASE-ing (Copy & Selectively Edit) Frenchi Martin, who is also joining us on this hop! How exciting!

I hope you find great inspiration from all the projects in this hop. You may be starting the hop here at my blog (Jessie Holton) or you may have come from the previous person on the list. Be sure to click on the next person in the list to continue your blog hop adventure casing Frenchie's work.

Here is the card I have chosen to case from Frenchie! This technique was really easy & fun to do. I hope you enjoy it too!

Here is my take on Frenchie's card. I have used the Watercolour cardstock, quartered & layered with a piece of Dapper Denim cardstock. I have used the Notecards & Envelopes 20 pack in Whisper White.

For this technique, Frenchie uses reinkers but as I didn't have any, I have blotted the ink pad directly onto the watercolour paper & then gone over the top with the Aqua Painters.

For the first card I have used stamps from Papillon Potpourri, Gorgeous Grunge & Love & Affection. First I have blotted the card with Flirty Flamingo, Sweet Sugarplum & Mint Macaron. Then I have stamped over the top with Versamark, used the Irredescent Ice embossing powder (retired - you can also use clear embossing powder) & set with the Heat Tool. Then I have blotted over the top with Dapper Denim.

For the second card, I have blotted the whole background with Daffodil Delight, stamped with Versamark, used the Irredescent Ice embossing powder, set with the Heat Tool & then blotted over with Dapper Denim. The stamps are from the Hostess Pun Intended Stamp Set.

Using the Pun Intended stamp set again, I have done the background of both cards with a mix of Peekaboo Peach, Flirty Flamingo & Wisteria Wonder, stamped with Versamark, used the Irredescent Ice embossing powder, set with the Heat Tool & then blotted over with Momento Black ink.

The Designer Series Paper in the background of my pictures is from the Affectionately Yours Suite.
