Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Dawn Griffith

Hi Stampers! hehe!

Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop for April - we've actually got two this month! Today we are excited to be CASE-ing Dawn Griffith (Copy & Selectively Edit), who is also joining us on this hop! How exciting! Dawn has so many fun cards, it was so hard to just choose one to case!

Here is Dawn's card which I cased. I thought this card was really fun with all the balloons & I just love anything turquoise or aqua!

Now you may recognise, my card below. If you've been following my blog, you'll have noticed I posted a similar card just the other day. The other card was in fact the one I was going to use for this blog hop but I used the Party Pants stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration catalog, which is now retired. How am I ever going to live without all the freebies? Boo! :P

Anyways, this is the other half of the cardstock I cut from the Shine On Specialty Designer Paper Series, which is actually thick like cardstock. This DSP is so gorgeous, with bright prints on one side & metallic prints on the other. This sheet I have used has silver rain drops on one side & Bermuda pattern on the other, although it's come up a little green on my pics. This pattern makes me dizzy!! I've layered it with a sheet of Silver Foil.

This time around, I have used the Balloon Celebrations stamp set for the balloons & HB sentiment. All the other little sentiments on the balloons are from the Banner Banter stamp set. I have used Archival Black ink to stamp it all so it didn't smudge on the Silver Foil, as it dries permanent. The smaller balloons in front have been propped up on Dimensionals. I have used the matching Balloon Punch, which you can purchase in a bundle with the Balloon Celebrations stamp set & save 15%!

On the inside I have layered the two sides of DSP with a piece of Whisper White cardstock & the sentiment is also from the Balloon Celebrations stamp set.
