I decided to make 6 cards & make them all just slightly different, because I like making cards in bulk but I don't like making them all the same haha! So here we go!
This first card I have made is a Whisper White card base with a layer of Pool Party cardstock, which I have run through the Big Shot with the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder. I have then put a strip of the Silver Metallic Glitter Tape (Sale-A-Bration item - available for FREE until 31 March - ask me how to get yours before they run out!), a square of Blushing Bride print paper from the Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack (one sheet quartered).
Next I have used the Wondrous Wreath stamp set to layer the wreath onto Whisper White cardstock in So Saffron, Blushing Bride & Pool Party inks. Because I have lined up the second stamp with the Blushing Bride ink, it has turned orange! I have used the matching dies to cut it out. The sentiment is also from the matching dies & I have cut it out from Silver Foil cardstock. I have used Fine Tip Glue to adhere the sentiment & Tear & Tape for the rest.
For this next card, I have added the extra strip of Silver Metallic Glitter Tape. For the rest of the wreaths, I have misaligned the Blushing Bride leaves stamp, so they didn't blend with the So Saffron. I have entered this card into the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #MOJO440.
For this next card, I have gone back to the original layout but added the acetate sheet from the Project Life Memories in the Making Specialty Cards (Sale-A-Bration item - available for FREE until 31 March - ask me how to get yours before they run out!). It's gold on one side & silver on the other, so I have used the silver side to match with the glitter tape & sentiment.
I have entered this card into the following challenges:
- TGIF - I have chosen to use the colours from this inspiration card
- The Paper Players - Spring Challenge
- Global Design Project - Case the Designer Challenge
For the next two I have not used the Blushing Bride square of Love Blossom DSP. I have aligned this one in the centre.
And I have aligned the final one on the right & I've also put the sentiment on a bit more of a slant, which I think looks really nice!
I think I'll make a little matching box for these & give them as a set. I'll let you know how I go with that as I haven't made a box before! But I have to wait for my next order with the Scoreboard on it! It's always exciting learning new things! Sam from Pootles has some amazing box tutorials, so if you'd like to learn how to make some, check her out! She's lovely too :)
Here's the Wondrous Wreath Bundle I have used:
