The first challenge I decided to enter was the Retro Sketches Challenge #193. This week's sketch is below:
And here is the card I've come up with:
I used this design to make a whole set! I thought it was a really lovely, simple card & I had this paper stack sample hanging around that I really wanted to use! I hate waste, so even though it's retired, I still wanted to use it :P
I used Real Red card stock embossed with the Decorative Dots folder on the Big Shot. Then I've used the Old Olive to make the little banners, which I cut myself (but I'm waiting for my Triple Banner Punch to come in the post!!). I'm not sure what the DSP is. The sentiment is from the Flurry of Wishes stamp set (I've really used that one a lot this season!) stamped in Real Red ink. I've used Glue Dots to hold it all in place. Then I've used kitchen string to make the little bow & stapled it on, going through the little banner as well to hold it all together. Just remember to open the card up if you try this at home... I forgot & stapled one shut! The whole thing is on a Whisper White card stock base. And I've added a little rhinestone to each card. Always with the rhinestones...
Here's a list of the products I've used:
See you next time!
