I was asked by a family friend to make a card for her granddaughter's graduation. I was asked to use black, white & rose gold (I didn't have any rose gold but I hope my watermelon & gold combo is close enough!), to make the card big & to say 'congratulations Tayla' on the front. I absolutely loved making this card & think the results are really striking, even if I say so myself!! I really hope Tayla loves it & has a great graduation - Congratulations Tayla!! :)
This retired black & white arrow DSP just jumped out at me! But you could use something from the Back to Black DSP to make something similar. I've layered it on the Gold Foil cardstock & Basic Black cardstock, on top of a Whisper White A4 base. This card is twice the size I normally make but I think it suits the occasion!
For the sentiment, I cut a rectangle of the Watermelon Wonder cardstock & taped the outside with washi tape, which was a technique Kylie used recently. You could use something from the Everyday Chic Washi Tapes to make something similar.
I've doubled up the 'congratulations!' stamp with Basic Black ink & went over the top with Gold ink. I then added the letter tiles & a popped it up on some Dimensionals. Lastly, I added a strip of the Gold Sequin Trim & half hid it under the sentiment. I've also used Basic Black ink for the 'is there no limit to your awesomeness' stamp inside the card.
Here's the products I've used to make this card:
