Christmas Cards for my eBay Shop!

So I've been at it again, making bulk lots of Xmas cards lol I have sooo much fun making them, it's just silly - but it feels great when you just get your groove on & you're making stuff & next thing you know you've got almost 30 cards made!! It also helps to have the baby at Nanna's house hehehe!!

I used the Moonlight DSP again, I just love the colours in there & of course, it matches all the current In Colour cardstock & ink, so you can really have a lot of fun mixing it up & it just all matches, which is great for my OCD :P

I did the first set using all the grey & yellow coloured sheets, which match the Tip Top Taupe & Hello Honey inks. I've used the Hello Honey to do the sentiment on Whisper White cardstock & I've done three of the baubles doubled up with Hello Honey ink & cardstock & the other two baubles are Hello Honey on Whisper White cardstock. I've used the Curly Lable punch for the sentiment & hand cut the baubles out.

This time, I've been playing with a lot of black cos I keep thinking about the card I made for Tayla's graduation, gosh I loved the way that card worked out! Don't you just love it when you have a crafting moment where the end product couldn't have worked out any better?

In the second set, I used all the aqua coloured sheets which match the Lost Lagoon ink, but I opted to double up on the Tip Top Taupe ink & cardstock for the little Xmas trees which I cut out using the Tree Punch.

I am having so much fun playing with non traditional Christmas colours, I think it's looks really fun & they'll certainly stand out in the mix on people's mantles and window sills. I got the idea from the Xmas cards I made for my neighbours because, although the paper had red in it, it wasn't really xmas designs.

For the third set, I've used all the purple coloured sheets which match the Blackberry Bliss. I've doubled up 4 of the 6 cards with Blackberry Bliss ink & cardstock, but unfortunately it's too dark to see. I still think the purple Xmas trees look pretty good though, so I didn't bother changing them. I suppose I could have gone over them in Basic Black & it still would have matched the outside border. You can see the cute tartan stamp pattern from the tree much easier when I've used the Blackberry Bliss ink on the Whisper White cardstock.

Then I had a bunch of card left over, so I got my stripe on & added a few rhinestones (you know I can't help it!) and hey presto! I've got a completely different looking set of cards, even though I've used all the same colours & stamps! Winning!! I also had a couple of the little snowflakes from the Flurry of Wishes bundle (in Lost Lagoon ink & cardstock) I used to make my previous bunch of Xmas cards for the last Blog Hop.

And I also had a couple of bits of gold & silver foil left over from the Xmas cards I made for my neighbours, so I used that too! Waste not, want not!! :P

And all of the cards have the same sentiment inside from the Lots of Joy stamp set & in the Hello Honey ink.

All these cards are available in my eBay shop.

Now normally I wouldn't add the little bits & pieces in like the glue I used & clear blocks etc but I've found it really useful to have the clear block bundle & caddy because you can have a whole bunch of stamps out & being used at the same time, so you're not having to constantly clean & put them away so you can use the block for another one.

Also, I've always just used the double sided tape from the shops & cut it myself but OMG! the dimensionals & glue dots are so amazing & easy to use! I hate having to clean all the gunk off my scissors from cutting the tape! So I'm converted & I'm going to start using the dimensionals & dots all the time!! I've also just bought the Stampin' Mist stamp cleaning spray & Stampin' Scrub board - the board is so awesome, you just spray the stamp, rub it on the wet side then the dry side & you have a shiny new stamp in two seconds flat! Best invention EVER!!

I've added them onto the products list so you can see what I'm talking about.
