Today I'm showing you the cards I made with the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper that I painted with the Aqua Painters the other day on my Facebook Live. You can see the video below. I had a lot of fun colouring this paper & love the rough look, with all the different shades of Fresh Fig on the flowers. My Aqua Painter was filled with rubbing alcohol to achieve this look.
Hello Friend Stamps & Petal Passion DSP are in the Retiring List & only available until 31 May or until stocks last. If you love them, don't miss out! Order them today! xx
I have used Bermuda Bay & Fresh Fig to colour the DSP with my Aqua Painter. I have gone over some bits twice to make some variation of shades & I have splattered with the Fresh Fig. I have also used Fresh Fig Sheer Ribbon.
The twigs & flowers die is from the Petals & More Thinlits Dies & is cut out on Gold Glimmer Paper. These are the opposite to normal as I have cut the Glimmer paper upside down on my Big Shot as the glitter can dull the dies. The sentiments are cut using the biggest & smallest circle dies from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies & are attached with Dimensionals.
I have stamped the inside to match & below is a close up of the DSP before I cut it up.

This is so pretty Jessie! Your colours are beautifully balanced and I love how the gold leaf die cuts and fig ribbon add a real luxurious feel to your card too. Thanks for sharing with us at Just Add Ink this week.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card, I really love your gold sparkly leaves and the way you have used the ribbon. Chantell Just Add Ink
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty Jessie, I love it. But the gold sparkly leaves did it for me, such a nice unexpected bit of sparkle. Thanks for joining us at Sketch Saturday this time. Claire DT
ReplyDeleteReally pretty, Jessie. The addition of that gorgeous ribbon, & the gold shimmer leaves is beautiful. Thanks for joining the challenge fun at Just Add Ink this week. x
ReplyDeleteI love what you did with the colouring Jessie, I had not thought about putting rubbing alcohol into an Aqua painter before, but I am definitely going to give it a go now. I love the gold glimmer rather than the foil used in this project too.
