Stamp N Hop Feb Blog Hop - Sweet Soiree

Hi Crafters!

Today is a big day! Not only is it my baby's first birthday, but I'm also joining in with the new Stamp 'N Hop crew & we are showing off items from the Occasions Catalog. I'm showing you my favourite suite: Sweet Soiree. Whether you have started here at my blog or you have come from Courtenay Heuston, I hope you can hop all the way around & show everyone a bit of love!

Happy 1st birthday Ryan! Little brother to Luke (almost 3). Where has the last year gone? 

I have used the Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit & the Decorative Masks, along with the coordinating DSP & the new Shimmery White Embossing Paste. Wow! I'm in love with all that glitter! I hope you enjoy my card, too!

I have used the 2" Circle Punch to cut the DSP & the Starburst Punch to cut the Silver Glimmer Paper. I have made a little nest of Silver Metallic Thread in between the two layers, which are held together with Dimensionals. I have also used the Velvet Ribbon & White Peg from the Embellishment Kit.

The sentiment & border stamps come from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set & are inked in Sweet Sugarplum & cut with the Classic Label Punch. The sequins are from the Color Me Happy Kit from the mini Blends Catalog. It's a shame all the glitter in the embossing paste doesn't show in the photos, it really is stunning.
