World Card Making Day - Birthday Memories Suite - Daddy Bear

Hi Crafters!

Today I'm hopping with the World Card Making Day Blog Hop Group & gee whiz! We have some ah-mazing demo's hopping with us today! I'm showing another card made from the Birthday Memories Suite using the Daddy Bear. This is the card I made for my nephew to congratulate him on becoming a big brother! Max will be two years old in January, so I'm sure his new little sister will be a bit of a shock to the system! The image reminded me of my brother taking Max to see his mum & sister, with a bunch of balloons in tow.

Baby Abigail was born on 24 September, 48cm & 2.77kgs. A perfect miniature human. Congratulations Graham & Erica on your beautiful baby girl!

I have used a Soft Sky base & stamped some presents & balloons on it in Soft Sky ink. I have fussy cut the bear & used the Birthday Friends dies to cut the balloons from the DSP, attached with Dimensionals & some Silver Metallic Thread behind.

I have also added some sequins from the Iridescent Assortment. I love the baby bear's sweet face, snuggling into the daddy bear!

I have sliced the top & bottom of the Every Day Label Punch to make it narrower to fit the sentiment nicely & tied a piece of Daffodil Delight Double Stitched Ribbon behind it. 

And a matching bag made with the Gift Bag Punch Board, a full 12"x12" sheet of DSP, Pumpkin Pie Stitched Edge Ribbon & the Honeycomb Balloon Embellishments.
