Is this a double take? No, haha! I just love this Fairy Celebration stamp set from Stampin' Up! The images & sentiments are really lovely! I made a bunch of these a while back & my mother in law gave them to her friends. I wasn't sure if they'd be too childish to give as adult birthday cards, but her friends loved them & she wants some more, so here's what I've come up with...

The other day, I showed you a few Fairy cards matched with the Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack & today I've matched them with the Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper from the New Occasions Catalog.

I have gone with the "all it takes is love, trust & a little bit of fairy dust" sentiment again on the front of the cards. I love this sentiment! Isn't it lovely? It could be used in so many different ways, but today I've paired it with the happy birthday sentiment on the inside. You can see a pic of the inside of my cards further down the page.

I have used the (old) Sweet Sugarplum Glitter Ribbon & Frosted Sequins from the Holiday Catalog & the (new) Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper (DSP) & Lace Doilies from the Occasions Catalog (Sign up for your Free Copy of the New Occasions Catalog here!) & hey presto, here are the cards! The first two cards I made on Soft Sky cardstock bases & while this is not a coordinating colour from the DSP, it does match with the 'stamped off' Mint Macaron in the DSP & is also one of the colours from the Sequins, the others being Sweet Sugarplum & white gold/silver.

I have also used the Silver Metallic Thread, Jar of Love stamp set (mason jar & lid), matching Everyday Jars Framelits & the Fairy Celebration stamp set, which are all from the Annual Catalog.

This second lot of cards have been made with Sweet Sugarplum card bases, which is a coordinating colour from the DSP. I have Silver Heat Embossed the jars, lids & fairy dust on all four cards & cut out with the matching mason jar die from the Everyday Jars Framelits on my Big Shot. It was so hot & humid here today, my heat emboss powder was half melted before I even put the Heat Tool to it!

It doesn't show up very well in the pics, but there is a big nest of Silver Metallic Thread in between the jar & doily layers.

On the inside, I have used the 'happy birthday' & 'may your wish come true' sentiments in Sweet Sugarplum. I have stamped the fairy dust & fairy in Soft Sky. And I have added a couple more Sequins for good luck :)
